As a dog owner, we can easily forget that our dog or puppy does not come with pre existing skills that are all set to what we want.  This is why it is critical for us to set our expectations to align with our fur babies abilities.  For example, to expect our dog to stay in the living room while we are preparing their dinner in the kitchen without training is surely going to cause disappointment and possibly even frustration.
